Where to stay

We’re so excited you’re coming to Edinburgh!
To help you plan your trip, here are a few friendly suggestions.

HOTELS

If you’d like things to be simple and stress-free (especially on the wedding day!), we recommend booking somewhere with easy access to public transport.

Look for hotels:

  • Near a tram stop (the closest to the venue is West End)

  • Or close to main bus routes (1, 10, 16, 25, 36 all run frequently)

Edinburgh’s public transport is very safe and reliable, and it makes moving around the city effortless.

Great areas to consider:

  • West End

  • Haymarket

  • City Centre

  • The Shore

AIRBNB & SHORT-TERM RENTALS

If you’re booking an Airbnb, it really depends on the kind of stay you’d enjoy.

Here are some lovely neighbourhoods we’d recommend:

  • New Town – central, elegant, beautiful Georgian streets.

  • Stockbridge – cosy village feel with amazing cafés.

  • Leith – vibrant, creative, and right by the water.

  • Bruntsfield – relaxed, local, and very pretty.

  • Haymarket – super practical for tram and train connections.

Wherever you choose, we suggest checking how close it is to a tram stop or a main bus route — it will make everything much easier.

And please, don’t hesitate to send us the link if you’re unsure!
We’re more than happy to help you decide whether it’s a good option.
